India is set to make history on July 18 with the launch of Vikram-1, the country’s first privately developed orbital satellite launch vehicle, from Sriharikota at 11:30 a.m. IST. Another innovation is the use of India's first 100% 3D-printed engine in the orbital adjustment module, powered by a liquid-fueled engine. This technology is a first for Indian satellite-launching rockets.
